Since 1999, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail has been a journey through the craft, history, and experience of distilling bourbon. The tour at each distillery is unique. At Jim Beam’s American Stillhouse, you’re treated to a 90-minute tour where you’ll see every step of the process up close and in detail. Woodford Reserve boasts one of the prettiest tours, with its historic buildings set among bluegrass fields. At Maker’s Mark, you get to personalize your own bottle by dipping it yourself into their iconic red wax seal.
Collect stamps at all nine breweries on our Kentucky Bourbon Trail passport, and then submit it. They will mail it back along with a free t-shirt! There’s no official beginning or end to the tour, so you can set your own pace and customize the order of your visits to suit the other things to do on your itinerary!
